Getting There

Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre is really well connected to all public transport networks.

Please note that West Ham United vs. Newcastle United is taking place at London Stadium, with a 3pm kick off. Stratford and Stratford International Station will be busier than normal before and after the match – we advise you arrive early and factor this into your journey time. Routes from the London Stadium into Westfield Shopping Centre after the hockey may be closed, so please follow the direction of the stewards on the Last Mile who will safely guide you to your transport hub.

Traffic around the area will be busier than normal and some road closures will be in effect at various times throughout the day, which are listed below. We advise you to leave early and factor this into your travel time Once you’ve parked up on North Wall Road, you are just a short 5-minute walk away from the venue.

Great Britain Hockey have been informed that on Saturday November 2 the following roads will be closed from 12:00 – 19:00 however, this may vary slightly on the day without prior warning so we advise to leave early to factor this in. Westfield Avenue, Loop Road, Monfitchet Road, Pool Street. Information accurate as of 30.10.2019.

Trains and Underground

We strongly recommend using the London Underground or Train services to Stratford Station or Stratford International Station.

Stratford Station

Underground – Jubilee Line, Central Line and Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

National Rail – Abellio Greater Anglia for services to Liverpool Street/Essex/East Anglia and London OverGround Services.

Stratford International Station

Underground – Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

National Rail – South Eastern High-Speed services to and from St Pancreas International.

Buses

The following bus routes connect Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre with Stratford and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park:

  • The 308, W15, N26 buses stop outside Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre
  • The 97, 339, 388 and N205 buses all run through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Below is the walking route from Stratford and Stratford International Station to Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. Our frinedly Hockey Makers will be stationed along the route to help you get to the venue quickly and safely and be on hand to answer any questions.

Minibus and Coach Parking – new for this season

For the 2019 FIH Olympic Qualifying matches, we will be offering a minibus and coach parking starting from £15. Coming with your club or school? Or even just a load of mates? Then you can purchase affordable parking within 5 minutes’ walk to the venue entrance. Parking can be purchased online along with your match day tickets in one easy transaction.

 Car Parking

There is no car parking available for event Spectators at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. Parking Eye is in operation at the Centre and vehicles will be subject to a substantial fine if parked on event days without permission. Nearby Westfield and Stratford International offer good parking solutions on match days should you wish to drive. Accessible Parking

All Blue Badge holders will be entitled to accessible parking. There are dedicated accessible parking spaces available at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.
